The Goldfinch — Title Sequence
I designed a title sequence for The Goldfinch by creating hand-made mini collages inspired by Theo’s everyday life and the key artworks that shaped his story. Each collage was scanned and animated with dramatic cropping and scaling to mirror the chaos and complexity of life. The visuals explore themes of identity, resilience, and escapism through art. A delicate serif typeface ties the sequence together, reflecting the quiet power of art to bring peace even in moments of loss and disorder.
